In this talk Afreen Bhumgara talks about How India can be AI Ready. Afreen is currently pursuing coursework in Computer Science at Savitribai Phule Pune University. An ardent fan of all thing’s technology, she can often be found involved in the world of software development, algorithms, data processing, neural networks and mathematics. Afreen, a diligent and tenacious individual, and a woman of action, believes and follows the principles of perseverance and states that one can achieve anything they put their heart and mind to. Afreen’s passions have led her to work on multiple research papers and projects on Fuzzy Algorithms, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, while presenting her work at multiple international conferences and winning awards at various platforms. Afreen’s interests encompass a wide range of domains – from being President at various clubs, the founder of a startup that aims to help the unprivileged and less resourceful segments of society, to being the Lead Data Officer at her own organization, the Founder of an Animal Shelter, an NSHSS member, implementing her cloud computing algorithms in NGO’s throughout India, a peer reviewer for international journals such as IEEE, Team Head of multiple Technical Fests, while also working as a Teacher & Activist at a local NGO – her dedication intrigues us all.
